Arrhythmia Associates, P.C. is an independent cardiology practice of Dr. Barry Alpert, specializing in the management of rhythm disturbances, known as cardiac electrophysiology.

Arrhythmia Associates prides itself on experience. At the same time, as a single physician practice, it provides patient-centered care with a small and friendly office staff and easy access to the physician. As an independent practice, Arrhythmia Associates accepts all major medical insurance plans.

About Dr. Alpert

Dr. Alpert was one of the first in the country to receive specialized training in electrophysiology. The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine then recruited him to establish the first electrophysiology laboratory in western Pennsylvania. He subsequently entered private practice and became chief of electrophysiology at Western Pennsylvania Hospital, a position he held for 26 years. More recently, he has focused on providing service to patients at multiple hospital locations, given the changing environment in western Pennsylvania health care.
